Sometimes a raccoon shows up on the ranch, and sometimes I feed it. This was bank night because I had access to a Balance bar.

There are tons of real estate foreclosures. I've been browsing through the houses on eBay where there are a lot of homes for less than $10,000 including back taxes and fees. I don't really plan on getting one at the moment. I'd rather pay off my car first.

Anyway, some of the places were in terrible condition-- sometimes it added to the charm of the building, sometimes not. It was during my browsing that I found this painfully ugly choice, and I'm trying to figure out how drunk I would have to be to think this was a good idea.

An arrowhead was found in his left shoulder, suggesting Otzi did not simply freeze to death while climbing the high mountains. Evidence shows he was likely a hunter.

I can understand that he was likely a hunter just because of the age during which he lived, but I don't understand why the arrowhead found IN his shoulder would indicate his occupation. It sounds more like someone capped Otzi's ass.

Do you think that perhaps those last two sentences are not supposed to be related? It would make more sense then.

In so many ways, this reminds me of what it's like when strangers argue online:

I don't think Palin's account was hacked. It feels like a preemptive strike against web neutrality, a push for more subjective government control over what content is allowed on the web. I'm not usually one for conspiracies, but this whole thing smells of bs.

The most suspicious part to me is that these postings were not simply dismissed as hearsay. People photoshop and write all kinds of fictional things, so how did it come to be that these representations of Palin's e-mail were so easily accepted as truth?

For instance, this mockup I came across a few days ago on The Onion is fake, but looks legit enough.



If Palin's had been real, I think the e-mails would have been dismissed as fakes. Too much attention is being given to it.

I got a kick out of these webcams at the Franco-Swiss border. My curiosity is piqued every couple of minutes.
